Gavin Miller Productions, LLC
We make movies that make a difference.
Since 1998, Gavin Miller Productions has made short and feature-length documentaries and narrative films, many of which have made a difference in people’s lives like “False Hope”, “Paralyzed At 17”, and “Hurricane Katrina Through the Eyes of the Children”. We’ve also made Addy winning TV commercials on drunk driving and teen suicide. It really started in the early 1990’s when Gavin gave over 400 speeches across the U.S. to save kids’ lives. And he did it all in a wheelchair!
Gavin Miller, Film Director – Editor – Producer – Screenwriter – Actor – Speaker
After a car wreck at age 17 paralyzed him and shattered his dream of playing pro baseball, Gavin Miller could have given up on life. But instead he chose to graduate high school with honors, graduate from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelors degree, study acting at KD Studio Actors Conservatory in Dallas, give over 400 speeches across the United States, act in over 30 productions (including Barney the Purple Dinosaur, which he’ll never admit), start his own film and TV production company in 1998 that has won 2 Addy Awards, and work full-time writing software that runs companies.
Jonathan Teel, Director of Photography
Jonathan Teel is at the helm of the shots as our DP. He is a veteran with service overseas, and a computer science graduate from Louisiana Tech.
